Fostering Movement Studio opened in April of 2016. The building of what has become the idea of the studio began to form many years ago. Each training and certification we have earned has built the studio to what it is today. There have been a few principles that create the basis of how we look at helping people move better. They are as follows:
Remove the over compensating muscle patterns causing incorrect pattering with massage, breathing.
Restore better flexibility with Pilates and breathing.
Restore better biomechanics with alignment and core connection through visualization, pilates and weight training.
Rebuild strength with optimal alignment and core connection through pilates and weight training.
Rebuild endurance through Pilates and weight training.
The approach to each of these can be different as each person is different. Each person brings a history of movement with them that must be seen by the instructor to help move forward.
